Great match on TG4 tonight from the FAI Carsberg Cup.

St Pats take on Longford Town - should be a cup cracker. Keith Fahy will be a huge loss for Sanit Patricks. Should be a good game anyway.

What cracker. Trevor Molloy scores after 3 minutes. All of 35 yards top corner.

HT 2-0, but Longford haven't given up and will come charging out for the second half, remains to be seen if Pat's can weather it.

Longford were unlucky. 4-1 down with 5 minutes to go with only 9 men.

Ref was a disgrace. Sent off 2 Longford players for absolutely nothing and gave Pats a penalty for nothing. He should be sacked. His performance was an embarresment.

Great match. Pity about the ref.

Another live match tomorrow night on TG4. Great coverage, great station

Gutted to have lost, but tbh some amazing decisions. Notably letting Gary Cronin play ;)

That said, good goal from Molloy but NO ONE closed him down, suppose this is what happens when you dont even have a challenge match on yer week off from games you overplanner you Matthews.

To have had the two lads sent off was damn harsh, first one ok maybe bu the second sending off, pure and utter ballhooks! and as for the second penalty.

For the 3rd pats goal doherty was off getting himself bandaged up after a lovely elbow. Anyway such is life, Pats may get to another final and loose, we will just moan for matthews to **** off as we are sick of the 90yard hit it long tactics.
