decorating new apartment, any help?

    Hi All,

    Just boughta new apartment in the Cork area and i have no idea where to start floors, tiling, furniture? can anyone help? any sugeestions for good tradesmen, tips etc. more than welcome

    A rough idea of where you apartment is would help the good folk on this forum advise you better of tradesmen that they may know in your area.

    go with solid wooden floors in living areas and hall.

    Tile bathrooms, high quality. Floor to ceiling tiled bathrooms can look great.

    Get high quality carpet, high wear carpets in the bedrooms.

    After that beds are first priority then living room furniture. Beds are usuall in stock but bear in mind living room furniture can take up to 3-4 months to deliver.
