^ Yes. He plays for Drogheda. Formerly of Shamrock Rovers. Nice fella.

Funny story actually. I used be co editor of City Fanzine FourFiveOne. In our first season we had a picture of Stephen Grant in it modelling, so we had some caption which alluded to him being a very rude word for a ladies nether parts. We were in the pub after and a few Rovers players had the zine and were having a chuckle at the picture. Grant didnt take too kindly to it, and stormed over to our table demanding an explanation. Webb came over, dragged him away laughing and tells him - "Ah Granty, shut up, they are only having a laugh.............................C**T". Man, he was not pleased.

Ok. It's just that when I googled his name all I got was that English singer dude that used to be in Blue.

    Sad news nonetheless.

Simon spent 6 seasons at Spurs as a youth/reserve in the 90s.

He got unlucky with injuries at Spurs and was rated as a far better player than Steven Carr whon he went over with...possibly the best soccer player Connacht ever produced....sad news RIP
