Media Pass to concerts etc

    Hi

    I'm interested in workin for a magazine in the next year or so, takin photos at events

    So was just wonderin, how do you go about applying for a media pass for a Photographer?

    Well you could start by sending your details, name of publication etc to the company promoting the concert. For eg "a certain promoter", only the more recognised press folks will be admitted.

    Wha do you mean Name of Publication? The magazine I'd be workin for? Would I have to sort it out with them first??

    all ya need to id find out the promoters/tour manager/bands email, send as many emails to them asking for a pass, college newspaper is a good source. sometimes that works, works alot for me. I spent the summer working for a company and now its pretty easy to get a pass, just make friends with the people ya need to whenever ya can
