Hi All,

From the same people who brought you the WSOP Express for a tenner, comes the Irish Open '07 $1 Shootout Tournaments....

On the 1st Monday of every month until the biggest poker tournament in Europe kicks off next Easter, PPP will be giving away 1 ticket to the 2007 Irish Open Main Event for just $1!

Entry to the tournaments is $1+$0.10 and there is one prize of 1 ticket (no expenses) worth €3500 to next year's Irish Open Main Event.

Registration for each tournament will open on the Friday morning before each....so for all you maths whizzes out there, registration for this coming Monday opens tomorrow morning

it'll certainly suit the chip accumulators. crap shoot or not, suppose you can't argue with the value!

even if it filled (which it won't) the max actual prizepool is $999 and the ticket is worth about $4430

I found 50c in the drain - went to the bookies - backed a hot-favourite in the 3.15 at Chepstow, turned the 50c into 57c (after tax) - flew to london - checked into the Waldorf, got a FREE limo to Walthamstow - put the lot on Trap 2, it romped home. Up to 73c. Rang Ryanair - no cheap flights to Vegas -called Celtic Helicopters (knew they were desperate - they need money for the Revenue Commissioners), chartered a heli to Paris, put the lot on a 38-1 outsider which WON!!!! Girl at the cashier was cute, partied hard for about 11 minutes, woke up in Calais with only 85c left (change from a packet of condoms), thumbed a lift through the chunnel from the CEO of Virgin - Branson himself!!! Told him I wanted to enter this PPP $1 sat, he gave me a first class return ticket to vegas and dropped me to the airport. Lost my ticket. Beat my head of the wall and ran around screaming - got arrested - released 19 hours later after proving I was not al Queda. Bunked on a train to Hoolyhead, snuck onto the ferry, fell asleep. Woke in Dun Laoghaire somewhat the worse for wear when a kind old lady dropped 15c into my hand thinking I was a tramp. Walked home and used my new found wealth to regiaster for this tourney. I cant loose

apparently the 100% registration i.e. 1c +1c wasnt attracting anough numbers. they also could only guarantee 25 mins blinds with 4k starting stack... so would just be a crapshoot. shame though...
