    Hi all,

The support we've had from boards players has been brilliant and I just want to say thanks very much to all, from myself and Julie.

Also just a reminder that Boylepoker.com are running a satellite for us tonight at 7:30pm.

It costs $50+.50c (€40) to enter and there is one €535 ticket guaranteed and another ticket for every 14 players thereafter.

The structure is 3,000 starting stack with a 15 minute clock so its just right, in my opinion, for an online qualifier.

This satellite is listed as a qualifier to our €500+€35 freeze-out tomorrow night in the Fairways Hotel, Dundalk (8pm start) but you can use the ticket at any of our locations at any time.

Check out our new web-site, www.pokerireland.ie

    Thanks.
    Stephen Mc Lean.

    Hi Gholi,

No problem at all....I'm probably embarassing myself here with my non-existent computer skills but I've copied and pasted it below.

I know we should have had this on our web-site, so sorry about that.

Just a quick note, registration opens at 7pm, the tournament will start at 8pm sharp.

    Thanks.

10,000 starting stack, experienced dealers, nice tables, nice chips no alcohol allowed at the tables, tea and sandwiches at the break. Expect a late/early Saturday morning finish.

    Cheers Gholi,

There's no prob if you run late tomo.

We will be allowing late entries (up to end of level 2) so long as you have phoned ahead your blinds will be posted.

    Thanks,
    Stephen.

Is there a 25-50 blind level?

    Hi Chopper,

    Yeah we're looking into this.

Basically we wanted to come up with a structure that gave the most possible play. At the moment with a fifty or sixty runner field it will finish up at about 6am.

However a couple of players have expressed concern about not having a 25-50 level which Julie and I both thought was the best level to lose if we had to lose one.

We are open to suggestions about changes but basically with the kind of structure we have we need to lose the 25-50 level or 75-150 level.

Don't forget there are 10,000 in starting chips.

    Thanks.

If it's a choice between one or the other I'd get rid of the 75-150 in it's place. I like seeing cheap flops early ;-)

Really? I don't like having to make the choice but in my opinion taking away the 75-150 level reduces the playability of the structure.

To me the 25-50 level is only there so that people who have travelled to the event get to sit at the table for a while.

Bearing in mind that it is a 10,000 starting stack, if you flat call the big blind for 100 its still only 1% of your stack and the later blinds will have slower increments.

We're very much open to change though cos like I said a couple of players were really concerned about this so we will probably take out the 75-150 level.

    Cheers Ricky,
    Stephen.
