The sennheiser cx300 are meant to be pretty good in-ear. There about 30euro on ebay

bought in ear sony headphones on several occasions - constant problem after any use is that the shielding on cable goes to the extent that it looks as if someone dipped them in acid. Sennheiser CX300's are a much better product, in my opinion.

i've had the sony in-ear ones (fontopia), 3 times. each time the rubber case for the wire disintigrated into nothing and the earphones eventually stopped being operational.

got sennheiser cx300 (which are cheaper, btw) and i'll never look back. clearer sound quality from them at a cheaper price... and proper casing on the wires!

Are these sennheiser cx300 better than the Ipod in-ears?

Because, the ipod one's really hurt my ears.

Hell yes, the ear buds themselves are smaller and fit better in yer ears, block out more external noise and I found the sound quality better. The Senns actually go inside yer ear canal.

I bought my Senns last week, €35 in 3G after 3 pairs of Sony's (yes, they sounded great but one of the buds always stopped working.)

www.ebay.com and search for "shure e2" make sure the seller ships to Ireland, the gaming ones are just as good. You wont get a better pair for that price and the little extra they may cost is certainly worth it for the quality of the phones.
