I can't believe how negative everone's being about girls with tattoos. is there anyone out there who likes them or even just wouldn't give a damn if a girl has tats

depends on how many/where... don't mind the odd one or two, and sometimes it does add a lot to a girl, but i wouldn't be mad about the kind of girls who might work in a tattoo place

Female friend of mine has her name tattooed in Japanese writing on the underside of her forearm in really thin red script, looks pretty neat.
I'd be in agreement with Dr.bollocko tho when it comes to size, and content.

I went to a guy on Dorset street hes supposed to be brilliant but alas despite designing it i bottled it cos as far as i remember it really hurts!!

its quite big so would end up even uglier if i wasnt careful!

Tattoos are a matter of taste. If you like skanky and gamey, then more power to ya. I've yet to see tattoos that weren't. So...I guess they just ain't my bag.

Dont like big ones on the arms, however the ones on the lower back are often fairly sexy. But tbh I dont really like permanent tatoos, a tribal drawing on your girlfriends back might look sexy when shes 21, but do you want to be looking at it when you are married grandparents in your late 50s? :eek: :eek:

There's this girl in work that I'd class as ideal (that was until she bent over the other day and I got to see this tiny tatoo on her lower back). I'd have been happier if she had none at all (or something as big as my face as it least shows you're commited to the idea, rather than just having some easily concealable thing that you can hide/display as fashion dictates.)

No-one can say that these girls aren't hot. Whether they have tattoos or not - not many people will be turning their heads at them when they are old. Tattoos are all about expression.

The only difference between someone with tattoos and someone without them is that the person with tattoos doesn't care if you are tattooed or not.

Depends on the size and style of the tattoo, most girls I know have small ones and they look pretty nice. I've seen a few girls with big ones and they do not suit them at all.

Although that said I'm getting really sick of the typical predictable tattoos like the rose on the hip/ankle, the design on the lower back, its all a bit yawn now rather then impressive.

However...I will say that something original and very well worked is always interesting, not attractive to me but interesting and says that the wearer may be an interesting person. I have seen attractive girls with interesting and original tatoos and while I respect the originality I would never be interested.

The following are just disgusing/cheap-looking/tacky/too unoriginal (in my opinion only!):

Chinese/Japanese symbols...so old, so boring, so unoriginal, probably doesn't say what you think it does

Tramp stamp (across lower back) - tacky and unoriginal

Dolphins - great animals but please, if I see another one jumping over the bellybutton I'll scream! Can also look like a whale if said girl is pregnant!

Tribal symbols - if you don't belong to that tribe, it can't possibly mean anything to you and you will only look stupid if you ever meet up with any of said tribe members.

Plan on getting a few myself soon but despite my age the mother would still give out to me till the end of my - or rather hers, hopefully - days.
