    Hi Y'all,

Considering a new digital. Have used a Kodak 3mp and Pentax 5mp, but would like something that can take wide angle shots and probably 6+ mps. Any recommendations/price guides?
    Thanks in advance

I'm not sure about your existing cameras, but Digital SLRs can do anything regular SLRs can do. They're pricey though(600+), but you can get the whole range of lenses. Anything below 50mm could be considered "wide angle".

On a full frame sensor, on a smaller sensor you are looking at anything below 30mm or so.(50/1.5 or 1.6).

But Zillah makes a good point. You can pick up a Nikon D50 with 18mm-50mm kit lens for around €600.

Sorry, thought you meant for compacts...

It's not so much the camera you'll be after, it's the lens, but a full frame is much better.
