Stanstead to London...

...the Stanstead Express advertises itself as 45 minutes.

In my experience, they have never done it in time, except maybe a flight in the middle of the day with noone else on the train. During rush hour, how much time would you leave to get the train from Liverpool Street to Stanstead?

If you don't mind an extra 10-15mins journey time I'd recommend getting a coach to/from Central London. Its far cheaper and generally more reliable than the trains.

I've never had any problems with that train, but if you're worried allow an extra 10 or 20 minutes.

Have people had trouble with this service before? Ryanair own it don't they?!

I've never had any problems with it apart from the people eating their
    MacDonalds on it.
It's fast, 2 stops Tottenham Hale and Stansted.
    Drops you under the airport.
Problem with coaches could be traffic.
Ryanair do a cheaper e-ticket, you don't even need to have any flight booked.
Rush hour should make no difference to it tbh.
