looking for musicians

    alright folks.

    looking to form an original band thats not playing music that has become 'run of the mill' over the past few retro revival years.

    I play guitar and am trying to write songs that are just a bit off the beaten track.

    not going to mention influences but the idea would be powerful rock with subtle touches and plenty of dynamics...thats not excluding anyone tho because genre splicing can be as much fun as anything else.

    anyway 24 in dublin have own equipment and transport.

    all i ask is no time wasters

    Hows things? I hate the influx of retro bands too! Well, franz ferdinand and KC are good but the rest suck balls! To be honest, i'd love to just have a good, dirty, seedy, strip bar, rock sound with Les Pauls, drummer with ego, bassist with rythym and singer who sings about other people in a derogatory/critical fashion as opposed to being another Chris Martin!

    What ever happened to rock's balls? MTV/VH1 have them tucked away in their purse!

    And by the way, singers with 'Daddy never loved me' and other such issues need not apply!!!
