Cover Letter

    Im emailing off my CV later and i was wondering do i attach my cover letter with the cv or have it as the main page of the email

    I normally have it along with the CV.

    Attach it with the CV imo, that way it makes it easier for them to print off, if you put it in the main page it may get left out.

    However don't just say "please find CV and Cover letter attached", just reference the job you want to apply for and where you saw it advertised and state you are availabel to discuss the details attached.

    Just my opinion, others might think otherwise.

    I generally just use the e-mail body as a cover letter but thats because I normally know if my application will be received by someone with some clue(TM). If in doubt attach a copy.
