Two shots from a recent trip to Fota Wildlife Park.

Let's have a look at those teeth, then!

Nicely done. The expression in the first one is amusing, the second one looks a tiny bit blurred but otherwise looking good to me. What cam?

    Thanks!

Canon 350D. The second one's a little off alright... ISO monsters, sudden drop in light, shutter speed was slowish while the cat's head moved back and to the right. Two more:

The first one is great. What lens did you use?

Great shots. I live just a mile from the place and haven't been there for years. Your photos have inspired me to go there in the next week or so and photograph some of the critters.

You're the second person to say that to me. If you like shooting wildlife then get yourself an annual pass. I'd do it for the Cheetahs alone but you'll soon have a large amount of birds migrating in to the small lake there.

There's some Cheetah cubs there that were born in July. They hardly come out of their house because of the "cold" but it would be sooo worth it if they did.

You mean you can't climb over the fence and say "here, kitty kitty" to coax them out? :)

It might just be simpler to copy that Derry girl who wanted to stroke the Amur Tigers in Dublin Zoo. It was an armless act of kindness... I mean harmless.

Nice shots indeed. Just a suggestion though, I dowloaded a couple and boosted the saturation a bit in PS and I think it improved them personally, especially with regard to the colours in the Cheetah's face. I thought it looked a bit 'washed out' in the originals. Just my €0.02 worth.

    Thanks Alun,

The yawn shot definitely needed a boost.

#3 is by far the best IMO.
