Everytime I use Skype recently, I can hear my voice in the distance, about 1 second after I've spoken. I think its coming from the other peoples' end of things but Im not 100% sure. It is driving me bonkers!

Has anyone had similar problems? Im on broadband and have a sennheiser headset with built in microphone.

Oh.. and it doesnt happen at all if I ring a mobile or landline. Weird!

The "echo" is all due to your upload speed.

You may have "broadband" but the usual defintion of this relates to download
    more than upload.
Often upload speed = 1/4 of the download speed.
And both download and upload depend on the demand on your broadband pipe, the so-called contention.

Test both upload and download on the test sites:
    http://www.testmy.net/tools/test/u_load.php
    http://www.testmy.net/tools/test/d_load.php

In my experience an ACTUAL upload of 256 kb/sec (~30 kB/sec) will cut the mustard.

The Digiweb Lite package is doing it okay for some I know.

    tak.
