Coincidence? Signs?

I watched the English Medium programme on Saturday night and was thinking professing to my husband how over-dramatised it was with lights flickering all over the plac eand how bloody depressed the medium was and the martyrdom was over portrayed. So, I went to bed and got stuck into a book about the life of Mia Dolan (very good book....."I know why were here") and finished the last page around four o'clock. My mind was racing about the paranormal and I was thinking that I didn't really want to see any spirits or feel any energy and got up to go to the bathroom. Then as I switched on the light it flashed twice and blew. As did the one in the computer room two days before hand.

This occasionally happens to me.....and strangely enough, mostly when I'm positively ignoring the spirit world......I don't think they like that!

Does anyone else get little signs when they are being more scheptical/in denial of the paranormal?

I keep meaning to reply to the "popping light bulbs" thread in the spirituality forum on this. When we moved into this (new) house 3 years ago this started happening all the time, way more than you would expect, even an energy saver bulb went. We got an electrician in and he could see nothing wrong. It stopped recently though... and strangely, the "stopping of the popping" did seem to coincide with my becoming more and more interested in the paranormal, spiritual, reiki, meditation etc in the past 7-8 months.

However 2 lightbulbs went on me yesterday and I wouldn't say I was having a particularly sceptical day or anything. Maybe they had just reached the end of their natural life or maybe the presence of my very sceptical parents in the house had something to do with it!

This would be more of the opposite to say that they can show they are there.
After I read (Mia Dolan "The Gift". I remember saying to hubby how normal she seemed and yet with this amazing gift, she seemed to stay that way, and how it was such an honor for her to have the gift. Then over the next few days the DVD player would come on by itself. We checked out different ways that it might and none seemed to work, but yet the DVD would still come on by itself.

Bit more out there this one.
Another incident was after the last Ross trip (I was freaked out a bit by an encounter there) I remember thinking this is Chaos, May stop this. So I just said a little prayer to Archangel Micheal for protection and a little guidance. Dont know where I heard it but I heard a male voice say "Sign in three days" and then a female voice "Trust Us". Strange thing was not freaked out by that. On the third day I remember thinking "I am just nuts, It was all in my head". That night after my hubby went to bed I went to the computer to have a look around on it but It just would not turn on, Kept pressing the button, but would not turn on. So I went back into the sitting room to watch more tv but the tv would only go to one channel, it was "Sex and The City" so said feck it I will watch that. On this espoide the girls where heading to a club called chaos, at the end of the show Carrie was out side the the club and alone and then Mr Big shows up in his Car to give her a lift. and I honestly dont know if it was on the show or where it was but I heard "Even In Chaos We do Not Walk Alone".

Have to admit that took me back a bit, but pretty darn cool.
