I'm having a gander for you now. The timetable for this year wouldn't be created yet, but it'd probably be found under Undergraduate Information in the relevant faculty/department/school.

Classics website looked pretty empty, with Art History not being updated since 2004/5 it seems? I'm sure someone will be able to give you an overview of what it was like on here anyways!

The exact timetable does not appear to be up.

However, a quick look here and here suggests you take four courses: Greek and Roman Art and Architecture, Greek and Roman History, Sources and Evidence in History and Archaeology and Greek and Roman Mythology and Religion.

So to me you're looking at about eight hours a week.

wow that sounds very little? not that im complaining you understand but is that usual ?

Eight hours is fairly par for the course (badumtish?) for Arts, yeah.

1st year classical civ is 3 courses - Greek and Roman History, Art and Architecture, and Myth and Religion. The Sources and Evidence class is for Ancient History and Archaeology students.

I doubt the timetable's changed since I was in first year (that was four years ago, but it seems to stay the same every year) - History was Tuesday at 9 and 4, Art and Architecture Thursday at 10 and 12, and Myth and Religion was Tuesday at 12. It may not seem like a lot but you're expected to do a lot of reading by yourself.

I am going to be doing TSM Greek and TSM Classics, just looking on the site there, in the Greek classes it says i have Myth and Religion on Tuesdays at 12 but is this class shared with CC students aswell. Does this mean I will have some classes that are for both courses and therefore will have less work? Does that make any sense?!

Yes and no. Students in Greek and Latin 1st year have to take History and Art and Architecture. And if you're doing Intro to Greek/Latin you have to take Myth and Religion. So in total you'll have 9 hours of class a week. And yes, you'll have a bit less work because of the overlap - but only in first year. After that the courses are separate.

Besides, Greek is tough. I did Single Honour Classics and spent most of my year concentrating on Elementary Greek. So it's not like you'll have loads more time to doss.
