    where would i get a bus pass (just for travelling around the city)

    bus driver, ask for a "day saver". it's 3 euro i think

    that only lasts that day though, best bet would be the bus station, its on Parnell Street

    You can get a weekly or monthly commuter ticket from the station, which cover all city buses at all times. Monthly is €40 for students - don't know any other prices. There's also a Student Semester Ticket for €125 per semester (may have gone up this year).
