1/2NL Holdem. Effective stacks 200, I'm not at the table very long so no reads.

UTG limps, I make it 10 UTG+1 with KK. BB calls. UTG calls.

    Flop (31)
9 T J rainbow, BB bets 32, UTG flat calls.

    What's my plan?

    fold

    fold
you will know your a better than avarage player if you can easily find a fold here in these situations if you have no read on the other players.
BB leading for pot bet usually means he has one pair beat and the over call by UTG with original raiser left to act also indicates a strong hand so fold is prob the best option.

Looks indeed like a bad spot for Kings. Do you think UTG has KQ and Flat caller has 99. The flat call of 32 is worrying. I'd have to fold and shout fcuk at the same time.

Proves that I am below average. I would find it very hard to fold here. BB could have any range of hands (TQ, AT, AJ, 89) and UTG could easily be drawing. It is a tricky hand and where to go from here would be the problem.

I don't like calling as it gives a free card and raising to any meaningful amount, will be close enough to pot committing you. I would probably play weak tight and call this bet and evaluate on the turn, hoping the two calls after BB might slow him down.

    fold or shove

I currently lean towards shoving (but by lunchtime probably folding)

you say you dont like calling yet your saying you will call here.
calling is bad becuase you will often end up with the same decision on the turn expect for a bigget bet.
there are no cards that will improve your hand here and this is a typical spot where position can be used to lose less than you would if you were out of position.

    shoving is deffo -ev here.

I wanted to fold the flop but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I called.

The turn brings a 7. UTG bets 40, BB min-raises to 80, I fold. They get it all-in.

UTG has 89, BB has AA!

So in hindsight I was actually fortunate that the flop was so horrible

I played a similar hand with AA recently. Flop was 9TJ.As I'm a calling station, I couldnt fold when I was CRd AI.

BTW: I think folding the flop here is pretty standard.
