Can anyone recommend a decent dictaphone please? Preferably one without tapes but with a USB connection for uploading files onto a computer.

    cheers

Is it for taking notes or recording music also? If it's for the former, many MP3 players do voice recording - and a good job of it, too. As well as this, they tend to record tracks in MP3 mode, meaning they're easy to transfer afterwards also. Some of the USB MP3 players do also - a good pocket-based solution.

No, it's for doing interviews; sorry should have clarified. I have an iaudio and the mic on it is pretty good, but i'd rather keep the two jobs separate.

    cheers tho.
