    Someone told me due to complaints from Shanowen residents, the bar wouldn't be getting any extensions this year. Anyone know if there's truth to this rumour?

    Bar extensions are up in the air at the moment, we should know by Freshers Week me thinks. I do believe the €3 drinks day *cough* is still on the cards though. :)

    It also appears the new bar will be a crock of **** this year. looks liek the new management don't like the parts of running a bar where:
    - there's music
    - there's draught beer
    - there's beer before 5pm

    on the plus side, they seem to want to do food into the late evening, possibly decent food too, and i'm sure the fact they broke the PA system is entirely temporary
