Join up with Meteor through Carphone ware house and its free ... and its the new red case K750i.

I know its free on the 60 Euro tariff ... might be on the cheaper rates too.

I swear by Sony Ericssons ... easy to modify and easy to use, I hate the motorolas not user friendly at all, but thats just me ;)

Paid 60e for mine on the 20e meteor tariff. Fantastic phone.

I know mine is going really cheap. As of last night all the keys have locked up and don't work. No knocks or spills, entirely out of the blue!:(

    €49 on meteor60 billpay. €20 p/m contract.

I've had mine for 2months...it does lock up at annoying times though...Ihaven't figured out if that's because I use a 2gb MS in it.
Still a great phone, sharp screen, brilliant camera and nice sound from mp3s once you have a decent set of phones...

May need a software upgrade so don't get rid of it yet, just get onto the shop you got it from to see if they can tell you

I've had it freeze on me before but never this bad. Its strange too, the bottom keys work ie. 7,8,9,*,0,# and also c and joystick, but the top buttons, inc the power button doesn't work, so at the moment I can't even get past entering my PIN.:(

Rang O2 today they have none on speakeasy in stock. But are getting them in

this month. You cant pre-order them, as title states their 149 with 1st time

O2 customers the offer is for €75 euro credit and if you have an O2 sim €90

    credit.

Edit: This price is only avail on the Online shop.

its not on o2 website either - are they really going to bring in PayAsYouGo? I am tempted by the 3's v3x offer... but wouldn't mind a k750i and less hassle..

Said they would be putting it back on site when stock comes in.

The online shop said they'd ring me when a consignment came in.

Should you not put a 2GB card in it?
I see on the SE website it says the phone can take Memory Stick Pro Duo up to 1GB.
If you exceed 1GB what happens?

thats what he means, he is not sure if the phone is crashing due to having a 2gb sd card in it

Have you a link to that part of the SE website? I can't find that, or anything to say what the max card you can use

It says here that the maximum is 2gb.
What's the maximum capacity Memory Stick Duo™ supported by the phone?

AFAIK with regards to what SE say, it all depends on what manual/website you're looking at...I think some of them were printed/uploaded back when 2gb sticks were unavailable, so them saying the maximum was 1gb was true at the time.

With regards to my issue, it could be just as muc down to the 2gb stick being a fake....although that said, thr 512mb fake has never given me any of these crash/lock-up problems or the slow boot at power-on.
But like I said, it's still a great phone.

[edit] I was unaware of the issue of authenticity at time of purchase.

I'd agree about the unofficial MS cards. I've a P900 with a Sandisk card in it. Never had a problem.

Apparently even more fake SanDisk cards out there on eBay than there is sony.

The phone is buggy though...I've gamed for hours with both those cards (ROMs, ISOs) on the PSP and never so much as a glitch.

Wertz you might find updating the software in the phone gives you better results. It might just be the version you have on there doesnt like the bigger memory stick. I havent got a k750i but Just from experience with other phones. And afaik with sony ericsson phones you can download the updates and install them yourself over the usb cable.

I had lots of weird problems with my k750i. The meteor guys told me to do the update online and that seems to have fixed it. Great camera on it , which I why I bough it. But I think the predictive text is a pain on this phone. Its seems to get confused a lot. Not a simple as Nokia and not as clever as Motorola's (which I got used to on my V3). I'd like the V3X except its a terribly plasticiky phone.

I think I just installed the updater from the Sony website. It took about around 10 attempts before it worked properly though. It kept stopping.

Does anyone else have the problem that the phone vibrates when you're on a call if you receive a text or something? That's the only thing that's annoying me. On Meteor billpay btw
