Firefox settings

I got my internet explorer working no problem and i had firefox working fine last year but this year its a no go. I'v tried using the manual configuration of proxy.dcu.ie:8080 and also the automatic config - http://proxy.dcu.ie/proxy.pac but still no joy. MSN isn't working either.

Any suggestions??

Try proxy1.dcu.ie:3128 or proxy3.dcu.ie:3128

i couldn't get firefox sorted at all last year, resorted to using a thing called MyIE2 which is basically IE with a different skin and tabbed browsing, did the job for me anyway since Firefox wouldn't work at all....

i'm using firefox now, i'm not registered yet so i dont have the mcaffee or whatever yet i just went into the libary and they set it up for me, limewire is working too strangly, should i use it r not is te thing, will they ban me, for limewire that is, not firefox?

I doubt it, I have object dock with BitLord and Frostwire both sitting in plane view. The guy didnt say anything about not using them They probaly dont care. Though one thing I noticed was after they put the new Virus protection on irc wasnt working had to change setting in Access protection. Just in case anybody was wondering why they were having that prob

proxy.pac went down mid term last year though
