    Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if anyone out there has a an Intel mac (prefferably iMac) and would be willing to help me out with a lil question. I have a PIM that Im using and its not working under any virtualisation software on my G5, with the recent price drops I am tempted to upgrade but I would love to know if the PIM will work under virtualisation on an Intel Mac.

Oh has anyone used a windows mouse on a Mac?

It depends on how you run Windows on the Intel Mac. If you use Bootcamp and boot into XP then the machine is a Windows XP machine and runs anything that need Windows, VirtualPC won't work on Intel Macs as you probably already know.

Parallel Desktop I don't know about, it doesn't write directly to the video system - it uses a device called "parallels Video Device" or something like that but under the hood it's still Intel & Windows so I'd reckon there's a better chance it will run you app than VirtualPC on a G* CPU.

    Hey Zenner,

Good to see you again man :-) Cheers for the feedback, basically its what Im hoping but I would love to do a test before I buy the hardware and discover myself in the same pickle. I was hoping someone on here ideally has an Intel based iMac that I could ask them to check it out for me but I suppose any intel based mac would do? Any thoughts on this?

Hows the MackBook Pro by the way?
