getting married in lithuania

    im irish ,my fiancee is lithuanian ,we're going to get married in lithuania, i would be interested to know anyone who has or is getting married there.
    and what process they went through?has anyone been required to get a certificate of freedom to marry ,how long did that take to get processed? , we want a civil service and are just applying now.

    but as im the girl , im concerned about how to organize things from here as obviously his family will help too . also i would like to know the cost of the reception there we're having a small wedding 30-50 people most likely in kaunas.we will be getting information through his family but i would like to find out as much as i can myself,there is very little information available online ,and i want to find out information from on irish person point of view , although any1 'sadvice will help .
