okay finally got my monster x6800 up and running, everything is so much faster now

    but.....

when i using the cd-rom the mouse gets very jerky, cpu usage is normal, i am assuming its a shared IRQ problem, and suggestions?

all updates and drivers are installed

Those two devices use different IRQs afaik so I don't think that would be it. USB or PS/2 mouse?

It could be an issue with the KVM switch, I am not too familiar with them though. Any chance you could try the mouse on another machine for a while? Not sure what else you could try. Is there a configuration panel for the switch in Windows? Just wondering if the mouse is being detected properly (by its model) and not as a generic mouse, just some ideas for you to look into.
