    Haven't seen Inland Empire yet...

But I think it will be hard for anything to beat Blue Velvet.

    Blue Velvet
I've only seen Dune and Mulholland Drive and I pick Dune.

    Wild At Heart
Fire Walk With Me wasn't too great.. but I think the creation of the Twin Peaks TV series is probably his greatest achievement.

its a toughie but the Elephant Man just stole it from Blue Velvet for me!

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me
Twin Peaks the tv series was wonderful, but I didn't like the movie.

Wild at Heart wins it hands down! Still a classic in my circle of friends. Nothing short of brillant.

    Inland Empire
A difficult poll - I've gone for 'Mulholland Drive' because I love its beautiful shots and general Lynchian-oddness but 'Blue Velvet' also hovers there as does that ground-breaking TV show (including the final episodes).

'Inland Empire' is one of the few movies I'd look forward to based purely on the name behind it, even if the B&W trailer is extremely odd.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me
I've seen Wild At Heart, Lost Highway, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive Fire Walk with me and the Elephant Man. I think the Elephant man would be the least Lynchian of those films and it is fantastic. Some great performances in it. However I chose Wild At Heart followed tightly by Blue Velvet. I just loved Wild At Heart. It was my first Lynch Experience and still my favourite. Haven't seen it in a good few years and must see it again soon.

Dune is on the must see list.

EraserHead is the only film that I have watched and would safely say I'd never watch again, and I'm a full grown man!

    Wild At Heart
Mulholland Drive was originally shot as a pilot for a new TV series but it wasn't picked up so Lynch got funding to edit it into a feature film.

It would have been brilliant to see it as a TV series... and yes as ixoy says it had some beautiful... eh... 'shots' in it...

The stoopid DVD doesn't have any scene selections on it so you have to spend ages scanning forward through the film to get to appreciate some of the more beautiful shots.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me
Ha ha, Thats a pain. Lynch is a good man for some the more beautiful shots. theres some good ones in Lost Highway and any Jurassic Park fan has to appreciate Wild At Heart.

think that's deliberate on Lynch's part.

    Blue Velvet is my favourite.

But Twin Peaks, the television series is the greatest programme ever made.

Wow, I just realised what a gap there is in my Lynch knowledge.

I can't see anything topping Mulholland Drive though. And I didn't really like Blue Velvet at all.

    Mulholland Drive
I've seen them all except Inland and Twin Peaks (never saw the tv show so figured there was no point) and I can safely say that The Straight Story is the only one out of them that didn't have me looking at my watch before the end and is the only one I'd ever even contemplate watching again.

I understand Lynch only made this film to get back at critics who claimed he couldn't make a simple straight-forward movie but the irony of it all is that (whether he intended it or not) it is his best work.

    Mulholland Drive
The Straight Story by a very long way, although Wild at Heart and Lost Highway are excellent as well.

'Mulholland Dr' takes it, the lesbian scene being the clincher over 'Lost Highway'.
