I guess this is a newbie question but here it goes anyway.

On my Lidl sat receiver some channels appear in a split screen with 6 video feeds and with one audio feed (from one of the 6 pictures showing).

They are BBC so my newbie guess is that this is BBCi output. My question is whether this only works properly with a sky box or are there other receivers capable of making sense of it.

No the likes of BBCi or Sky News Active etc will only work properly on a Sky box.

Though when Wimblton. World cup, Olimpices or whatever the video that the BBCi gives you can usually be found and watched full screen as "stream..." something.

Thats if they are full screen, most of the BBC Sport interactive is full screen. But the small 6 screen BBCi News are as byte said, they only work right through a Sky box.

    Thanks.

I'll look out for some of those streams in due course.
