Those with Sky boxes can add ITV4 as an extra channel - goggle it and you will get coordinates on the web.:)

Cheers galinka. Maybe the mods should sticky a "spurs on the telly thread" were people can say what channels spurs games are been shown on. Were on quite a bit and a lot of the time on obscure channels. Its easy to miss the odd game on setanta if your not vigilant. Just a thought.

Sky viewers will still be able to view ITV4 by adding the channel manually.
To do so, press services, then 4 (system setup) and 4 (add channels).
Enter the frequency 10.758, a polarisation of V, a symbol rate of 22.0 (use the left/right arrow buttons) and an FEC of 5/6, then select 'Find channels'. From the list that appears, select ITV4 and press the yellow button, then select to store. The channel will now be accessible via services, then the 'Other Channels' menu. :D

Or if you're lazy like me, you can just take out your Sky viewing card, unplug your Sky box, wait about 10 seconds, then plug it back in minus the card. The Sky box resets and ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, BBC3 and BBC4 are on the second page on the programme listings. When you're finished just switch it off, pop the Sky card back in and switch it on again.

    HI All,

Does anyone know a pub in Dublin Southside where the Spurs match will be shown tonight ?

Don't have Sky unfortunately. My Mother-in-Law has Sky but I'd rather not go there.

    Cheers

The Cuckoos Nest will have it on mate. They will probably have 2 or 3 games on but we will definitely be one of them. Go to the Walkinstown roundabout and take the Greenhills Road turn Off. Carry on going straight, cross over the M50, and its on the left. Great pub for the games.

On the issue of streaming the best site for information on football streaming is:
    www.myp2p.eu/

You can reasonably expect to watch most Spurs matches for free on your computer. I recommend downloading PPmate and Sopcast to start you off (all explained on the site), TVants as recommneded above can give you viruses and malware.

Yeah I remember reading a discussion about that somewhere which is why I haven't downloaded it. PPStream is also very useful although I'm using Sopcast and PPMate more often these days. It's still useful to have all of them for when there's a few other good games on and u have a fast internet connection.

I recently put up a motorised satellte dish, and have seen a few Spurs games(including Saturdays  )

This is a good site to find out what satellites are showing the games

    http://liveonsat.com/

For example on Tuesday, the following Satellites are showing the Spurs v Boro game

    Spurs v Boro

If you go to the bottom of the page you will see the details for the game on Tuesday (Telesport (Rom) is Free to Air )

Our friends from last season has folded - £7 for a year was too good to be true.

I have a new one for £10 for 6 months - i'll watch it first tomorrow before listing it. Don't want people spending money on a possible dud.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 592 ✭✭✭galinka

    It's called www.freelivefooty.tv

It's £10 for 6 months - showing Sky & Setanta rather than our Arab friends.

    Picture quality excellent.

Good number of Spurs fans on board so we should win any votes that come up when matches clash.

This has had various problems and for the moment it's best avoided.

However a Norwegian one www.livesport247.com is very reliable and is €3 per week - not too dear and lots ogames on as well.

If you're gonna spend money just to watch setanta and sky sports matches then you're probably better off just buying one of the various decoder boxes which descramble all the subscription channels, like a replay lite or the like.

Do these subscription sites ever really show matches that you cannot get through myp2p.eu links?

http://live-tv-channels.com/ is a great tv portal, you can watch online tv for free, and search any movie or tv show you want to.

And that is the "lazy way!"
How about going to settings, set it once and never have to mess around taking the card out rebooting your box and then doing the same when your finished - and repeat this any time you want to watch any one of these stations!:D
