Was watching Mystic River last night, very good but alas, I had to retire early that evening. So what happend? Did Tim Robbins character really kill yer mans daughter or was I right to expect the inevitable tiwst at the end?

no.. that should have been obvious.. it was the dumb kid and his friend.. however his stupid wife thought he did... and she told Jimmy who then killed him.. even though Dave said he did not kill her but he killed a paedeophile.

Anyway next morning Sean (the cop) comes along and tells him they found the killers.. and it was the kids... Then asks has he seen Dave as they have to ask him about a dead paedeophile they believe he killed and stuck in the trunk of his car...
Jimmy thanks him for finding the killers and says he wishes they were a little faster...

He knows he killed him but no proof.. its up to your imagination that he will spend his time getting it... and Jimmy is turned into a mob style ganster by his nutty wife :D

Tim Robins was telling the truth all along.
