road signs that tell what speed your doing-

    hi all.


    on a stretch of road just outside dunboyne.their laying a temp
    road surface.they have large lit road signs.as you approach them.
    they flash slow your speed is x kph.i checked my speed and the
    sign matched.this would be great for the gards.

    we have one in the carpark in work sometimes, its amazing to see people try & get the highest speed on the thing :)

    There's one in Raheny - it's on the test route so handy if you want to make sure you're up to speed in the 60 zone!! ;)

    Any one of these I've come across has always over-estimated my speed, some of them by a ridiculous amount. They're intended to scare people not help them calibrate their speedo :)

    In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

    saw one on a street in stockholm near a school.

    the kids were bombing by it on rollerblades getting 'scores'.

    course they were in the middle of the road .. completely defeating the purpase of the safety set up.
