I just switched from a normal Sky digital box to Sky+ yesterday and it's now asking for the PIN every time I want to view Sky Movies 9 or 10, this never happened before. Is there any way to disable this?

i think its in the services screen... though cant say for certain... you might have to enter the pin (last 4 digits of your viewing card usually).

Also, just in case you are wondering, those channels are PIN protected as they allow rated 12 and 15 movies to be show during daytime.

Services > Parental Control > Press Red to turn off/on PIN restrictions is what you want. But in saying that, I think Sky Movies 9 and 10 override that.

It over-rides my ability to turn off pin protection on NTL so I think its the same deal.

i can't turn the pin off on my sky+ box but it only asked me for pin for sky movies 9 & 10.

i think it's because them channels have an 8pm watershed instead of a 9pm watershed.

Also if you have the adult channels "removed" from EPG then the PIN is enabled even if you disable it
    .

If you have never used the PIN before, its the last 4 digits of your Sky viewing card.

If it doesn't take that, you will need to ring Sky and get them to reset/change it

Or last four digits of ORIGINAL card, if you had Sky Digital before the mkII current cards.
