Exellent! The new (5th) series starts with a two parter which presumably picks up from the climax of series 4 as Adam and Harry come under fire from a rooftop sniper

    quick refresher realmedia file

Part two is on Monday and then its on every Monday I think.

Oh crap, I thought I had beaten my Spooks addiction, and it's back
I'll have to weigh up whether the withdrawal at the end of the series will be worth it again...

    Noooo, Colin!

I thought the opening two episodes were a bit too out there, I felt like I was watching 24. Great stuff though nonetheless.

And that Jo is such a cutey.

    Brilliant series as usual.
I really love this programme. Though how Ros is going to fit in to it from here on I don't know; I mean
who recruits someone from "the other side" and trusts them?

Cracking concluding episode last night as well...disgusted that harry let Millington have the cowards way out; embarassing establishment figures is the only punishment they understand. Well, that and biting a pillow for ten years in D wing...

Anyhoo, was that bird Jo, who was minding the PMs son the same lass that Adam recruited last year...remember, she was just an ordinary punter and proved herself to have the kind of savvy he reckoned the outfit could do with? or is she just another one of the disappeared...

    Don't forget that
    Adam originally came from 6
    Is that really a spoiler?

I personally found it a great plausible show (I've found recent episodes far too implausible compared to the earlier series), but didn't much care for the 'nick of time' thing at the end with (Zaf?). Bit too James Bondy for my liking.

    Great show nonetheless.

Maybe not, but I didn't want to run the risk of annoying anyone who hasn't watched it yet!

Yep she was the one who got caught up in a night-time op during the last season er series. She was a student/reporter

Best 2 hours of TV I've seen in a long time.

Yup, I haven't liked the way they've been losing the run of themselves a bit - what I always loved about Spooks was the fact that you could easily believe most of the stuff could really happen.

My reaction at *the significant event* in Episode 1:
:eek: Jesus, what a way to kill off the meekest character in the series. Powerful scene.

Any idea when it might eventually turn up on RTE?
