Wireless Connection Dropping

I recently replaced my router with a Wireless Router, using a USB link.
I have got it configured correctly as its working right now.

But i find that if you don't use the connection for a while, ie if i put computer on standby and come back, it won't reconnect to the internet.

I find that i'm pluging out the router from the wall, re turning it on. then it re connects.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Router make/model would be helpful.:)
Access the router config page in your browser and check the connection settings. Make sure it is set for "Keep alive", "Always on", "Automatic" or whatever, and not "Manual" or "On demand".
Assuming you have a modem separate to the wireless router, check the same settings on the modem aswell.
