hey, my sis laptop has a prob with the restore cd, maybe its scratched i dunno so basically i cant reinstall the original windows
however what i think might be the best solution is using a fresh windows and then use some software that automatically finds the drivers.
i remember i did it years ago for a desktop but i dont remember the name of the software and i cant find one from google.

does anyone know some software that does this?

What kind of a laptop does she have because with most, you can just type in your model number in the manufacturers website and it will bring up the drivers you need.

I think the 290 series drivers should work.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for but I use this for my drivers.
    Driver Dectective from www.drivershq.com
This will check your system devices and driver revisions and tell you which ones are out of date. The free version will tell you whats out of date.
The paid service will install them for you.
