Thats great news. It may finally get the fanbase it deserves in Ireland and a regular decent timeslot. Great buy for Channel 6.

unlikely as it is only the minority of the population that has Channel 6

Most people in Dublin should have channel 6, still not a lot of people know about 24.

Over the first 3 season 24 had an average of 150,000 viewers (With a max of 250,000) on Tuesday Nights on RTE TWO, which is good for RTE TWO.

For some strange reason RTE don't believe that a critical acclaimed, award winnning show should be given a prime time slot any more.

24 does have a fan base just not in RTE.

We need to protest against this.

Even I'd be happy if TG4 done it.

Its good to see the repeats (I have it on DVD but who knows who has it at this stage!).

Only gripe I have about C6 or any other station that shows 24 is that it isnt on BBC2. It used to be great on that! No breaks. Cant beat it

BBC 2 used to do this with no breaks. Was great. It was on fairly late so there was you didnt have to worry about phone calls or anything getting in your way of 4 in a row

I remember Kiefer Sutherland commenting on how great he thought it'd be to watch 24 on TV without ads. He was talking about the way they showed it on BBC, I think it was in Empire.

Well he did say that the BBC showing it over here made it bigger here than in the US hence why they kept making it. Then it caught a hold in the US and became massive.

I've turned a few people into 24 fans. Most have only seen S4 and 5. It would be great for them to see S1 onwards.
S1 and 2 kinda had a special feel to them.
Sky will begin to show Channel 6 from October 06 also:)

I heard that CH6 were asking for skys help in getting a bigger audience alright, but I have heard nothing about it broadcasting from this October on Skys platform.
