The case of the missing toothbrush

Bought an electric toothbrush in Argos jervis street today and when I got home opened the box to find that there was a charger, heads for the toothbrush and a plastic carry case inside the box but no toothbrush (the box was not sealed).

Anyone know if there's a customer care number for argos as the number for jervis st on the receipt just rings out (and i've searched 11850.ie but there's no central number, just all the shop numbers). ?

You might have to call their UK number for customer service if the shop number keeps ringing out. Did you try (01) 216 1616? I think that is for their check and reserve thing.

What do you want to do, ring them so they can come and collect? Either way you'll have to go down to Argos, so why bother with the phonecall?

Argos are known for this stuff happening! People I know who have worked there said they get an unbelievable amount of returns every day.

Alas I bought a punching bag and had to return it, all the stuff on the inside was on the outside cos the zip was broken. The lady in returns just took it back, completely unphased, no questions asked.
