    im gonna book my ticket back so i need to know

    also do you think its a good idea to not come back in the first month at all to settle in and make friends etc?

    sorry one more question is there some sort of half term in october etc?

    No there is no half term, unless you do BESS in which case you get a readin week for week 5 of term, which is basically a week off. I think your doing some sort of arts course? Then allow for a 9 week term i think, starting on October the 9th and (having just checked the website) ending December the 8th. or thats when teaching ends. You may have papaers due int he week after, but it is more likely to be a readin week in which you can catch up, unless you do BESS or a few other courses in which case you have exams. You should be able to book a flight in the middle of the week december 12th to 19th no bother with no fear of missing essay due dates but I would leave it till the wednesday or so. Anyway I'm sure others will fill in the gaps.
