is it €2500 guarantees or added to the prise pool .
becuase all you need is 25 runners to have that prise pool guaranteed which is about 2.5 tables?

i think they are guaranteeing a massive 25 runners gholi

tremendous value if the usual 4 or 5 turn up........

Still a nice guarantee if they only get 12 players.....Where is Sliks?

everywhere has to start somewhere. This should put paid to 14 people turning up and 8 of them deciding they don't want to play as there is no value. Either there are less than 25 runners and an overlay, or else there is a decent prizepool and a good bit of play etc.

    Questions:

    1) Where is Silks?

    2) What is the tourney structure - 30 min levels // 4,000 starting stack? Something else?

    3) Is anyone going to bother?

    Thanks in advance lads:)

It would be serious -ev to answer your question Lloyd. I'll report back tomorrow with the answer.

There is a decent crowd expected for this. unfortunately I've a slightly more important tourney to play tonight, so will have to give it a miss.

Its on Earlsfort Terrace, walk past the national concert hall and through the lights adjacent to Hatch st. if you are coming from St. Stephens Green.

Ugh just took the sickest beat in a winners choice EPT.

I had 280 in chips average stack 250. 58 players left.

I raise to 40 (blinds 5 10) from EP with 99. Flop is A98 rainbow. I check he bets, I go all-in. He has AJ.

Turn A River J. So ****ing sick. I was cruising along. AGgggggggggGHhhhhhhhhhhh

On the flop i'm 92% favourite. Turn i'm still 85% facourite. So fnuking SICK.

    Home at 4am and I've got a profit of €190. :p

Lots of fun in Silks tonight except for the drunk on my right for two hours. 31 runners and 7 got paid. I squeezed into 5th for €300 leaving Halfbaked, Gholi and another boardster and a tourist to fight it out for the top prize of €1100. An awful lot of play in this game with the chip average at >25 BBs all the way at the FT.

Gholi is a big CL but he'll probably blow it yet ;):p

The guarantee is going to be maintained and possibly increased next Wednesday for those who may be interested.

Apologies to Ionapaul for pulling the old I've got two flush draws and you only have only move with AhQs versus AdQd. I know i'm only supposed to win these things 2% of the time but I'm running hot at these sort of things as rounders will tell you!

P.S. I did get a bit distracted by the lesbian dealer commenting on how beautiful one of the ladies at the table was and trying to distract me with some chest movements during sritical all in moments (dunno why maybe she's bi) but the poker was very enjoyable too!! :D

Well done lads! Seemed like a fun tournament that will run to all hours.

Olly, was that lesbian dark haired with an American / Australian accent? This information is much more important to me than any of that poker stuff....!

Paul you have your priorities right son! :D Yes you have the correct person. Kept calling people honey (well me anyway).

I was giving Gholi the stare down prior to making a push (as he'd made a raise of my BB and its time to send out a message plus I have AJ) and more importantly I'm trying to get a read on the utg limper who is the fly in the ointment.

I'm in seat one so I'm having to try and look around the dealer and I'm at glare factor 5 when suddenly she thrusts her bosoms right into my eyeline. Well clearly this throws the glare right off except for the utg limper who is oblivious so I immediately lay down my AJ and the utg limper pushes all-in with AQ sooted and Gholi folds his muck. Happy days.

As soon as Natalie (or is Natalia) got knocked out in 6th she turns to me and says "she is very hot". i laugh and say "Did you not see the ring? and unfortunately I know the boyfriend ;) " She responds with.....

    ....wait for it.....

"So? It's not cheating if its with another woman" How can a guy concentrate with that sort of stuff going on. Man I love live poker.:p

4:30 it finished. Peter and Chris were heads up eventually getting it all-in with A9 vs 55 and an A on the flop gave Peter the win.

    Thanks Olly.

I felt I played well all night, especially considering I only had pocket pairs 3 times, two AK, one AQ and two Aj all night. To be fair if golly if wasn't sick I think he would have certainly got second:p

Went for a few beers to celebrate afterwards....just home now!! It's tough been off work for two weeks:D

Well done John on the split in the SE, your tearing those tourneys up at the moment.
