I was wondering if anyone could help me on this .

I’ve recently moved and will have to get the 39X bus home. It stops at Parnell Square/ Manor Street. I got off the bus this Morning on Parnell Sq but couldn’t see any bus stop where I could get it home in the other direction. Its says its stops at Manor St, I’m not use to that area so not really sure where it is. Could someone tell me where abouts it is. What buildings etc are around?
    :)
    Thanks in Advance

Manor Street is at the top of Stoneybatter, some 15 minutes walk from Parnell Square. A fair bit of a distance away so get your walking shoes on, me dear!

Reading the 39X Timetable it seems the first two outbound services are via Hanlons Corner, suggesting they travel via Lord Edward St, Manor St. The later 2 are via Phibsboro (Westmoreland St/Parnell Sq.). The Parnell Sq stop outbound is on the West of the square. You probably got off the bus on the East side.

Yeah I did alright. I was fine this morning and knew where I was going. I’m not very familiar with this side of town. They said that the stop is opposite the Rotunda Hospital. I haven’t a clue where that is either.. help??

The West side is the opposite side to the East side that you alighted on :) But only 2 of the 4 38X runs serve Parnell Sq. maps.google.com will help!

    linky

The Rotunda is on Parnell Square West, just north of (and across the road from) the junction with Granby Place, marked on the map.

That whole street is a mess so you may have to walk around for a while before you find the stop. When you do find it, you'll probably need to stand in the middle of the road so you don't miss the bus flying past all the other parked buses. You'll also need to master the art of watching for your bus through the window of another bus, to make sure it doesn't pull up behind another bus and pull off before you realise it was there.

Parnell Square West is the side of the square with a big Sinn Féin office on it.
It is the opposite side of the square from the side with the Gate Theatre on it.
The main entrance to the new part of the Rotunda is on Parnell Square West.

The Rotunda is the hospital in the centre of the square (which is actually rectangular and only had 3 sides :D). The main entrance is on the west side.
