Princes St. Rejuvenation

    Anyone see on the news today about the rejuvenation of princes st? Its the street off o'connell st with designating motorbiking parking.

    Ok i know we can technically park anywhere, but in a city like dublin there should be more and more designated motorbike parking similar to what they do in some european cities.

    With o'connell street officially off limits and princes st looking like its chalked off too, guess we will just have to stage a protest similar to the taxi drivers!!

    has anyone actually had their bike removed from oconnell st? i have parked there loads of time without problems

    Likewise, have parked there on several occasions without any grief..
    I reckon the bikes in the middle of O'Connell Street adds a continental air to the place..

    bikes are only restircted from the bit across from easons.
    you can still park opposite the gpo near the spike.

    there were biker cops there watchin a rally or somehting one day,
    so i asked them was it ok to park near them, they said its not illegal to park there so why would they stop me.
