Are they out today? The academic calendar says they're out today but there's no link on the portal page or anything, I never got a mail about them either.

Pfft, repeating with one module in first semester and two in second semester. What a waste of my time.

Anyone know how the hell I register for repeating? Do I have to talk to Michael Ryan first?

Print off and fill out the R34 form (link on the page with your results), get your head of school person to sign it (Howard Duncan did it for me (CAIS)). I popped to the finance office in the Business building to confirm some stuff and apparently we bring it to registration on the 25th.

grand, just hope I don't have to pay too much. do we need to pay the €838?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,561 ✭✭✭Rhyme

If you're just doing the exams its €350, if you have a module to repeat (coursework etc) its €650.

The normal registration fee (€838) is only for continuing students, repeat students dont have to pay it.

You just made my day, thought it would cost me close to €2000. Thanks.

So did i... was a weight off my shoulders when the charming lady in the finance office spelled it out to me. I had it calculated at €1838 and that made me sad... €650 isnt too bad i guess.

I repeated 2 subjects last year and it cost me a few hundred euros more than the normal fees for a continuing student. Cant remember the exact price break down, but it was over E1100 IIRC
