Grabbed a couple of flights to Barcelona for a long weekender, very cheap.

Well you can back it up by staying here.

Nice one. Lovely hotel. Have recommended to loads of people. Try the Ciudad Comtal tapas bar nearby too.

And previously I've found booking through www.hotelclub.net yields a lower price.

The best value has to be Jersey (Channel Islands)

€70 per person return including taxes AND you can buy DUTY FREE in Dublin & Jersey. Flights to Jersey end at end of October though.

A few fags and a couple of bottles and you've got your fare & hotel back in tax savings!

Madrid is also €70 return inc taxes:)

I'm thinking of buying a set for November. Does anyone know what the regular price for such flights is as my friend who I'll be going over to stay with hasn't even moved there yet so it's not really planable.

If I buy these, can I sell them to somebody else? Can I get a refund and if so, how much of a refund should I expect?

Can you sell them? No, the name change fee is outrageous €35 per person per leg. Fares are nonrefundable. You may be able to recover the tax less an admin fee.

When are the regulators going to stop the false advertising that is both Aerlingus and Ryanair. You absolutely cannot go to any destination for 1 Euro. Advertising without the taxes and surcharges, it's very misleading.

That said, this is a good sale and if you have to travel then book today!

    Friend rang them yesterday.

Said he couldn't be definite on the dates (New York) till the weekend.

Was told not to panic another sale in November.
