That's a really good video. The same thing happened at a house party I was at where the cops just let themselves in, tricky feckers.

Got man handled onto the path(by surprise) by a gurad. It was om camden street and i auctally tought i was that i was getting attacked.

When i turned and seen it was infact a guard i blew my top and hurled alot of uncontrollred abuse, All he had to do was bloody ask me to get onto the path(i was trying the flag down a taxi at the time.)

As myself and my friend got to the end of Camden street a transit mounted the footpath and they cuffed us both. It was quite funny at the time which didn't go down well with the guards.

Long story short...The guards in Kevin St were sound and we kept our mouth shut and were very polite.

We were let out at 7 am i think it was and we wen't charged:D Oh we were arrested for ''being drunk and a danger to ourselves''

been arrested once for refusing to obey garda orders, being a human roundabout and generally making a nuiscance of meself. it was around last christmas and i was wearing one of those WKD turkeys on my head when the arrested me. they let me go a while later with no charges and gave me back the turkey thankfully. nothing but fond memories of it.

Wasn't arrested before, but did pull a cop off a friend as he was trying to ctach and arrest him. Friend got away, I was left looking at a very angry cop :D Was told if I didn't leave I would be put in the back of the squad car. Cops found my friend later when he met up with us again. They had followed us around the city, then jumped out of their unmarked car when my friend joined us.

Nearly twice but apparently I'm too heavy to carry. Once outside Sellafield where I was part of a blockade and a few months later in Dublin at the 2002 reclaim the streets. Each time I went limp and the guards/police had no idea how to deal with me.

Considering what ive seen arrests for that is fcuking stunning. You actually physically interfered with a guard as he tried to arrest a guy (physically interfered.....ooohoho *waves hand in gay manner* ) and werent arrested? Ive seen people arrested for verbally claiming their friend didnt start a fight.

Me ive never been got, they know I run a 20 million per annum cocaine trafficking operation in West Dublin and have had a personal hand in several gangland killings, but everyones too afraid to testify.

In all seriousness though, have had a few close shaves (all while drunk) but i always managed to talk my way out. Nearly got dragged in few motnsha back for tryna save my mate when he was pulled in for fcukin a cone at a cop car when bollixed. They took him to Pearse Street, he said the sight of the junkies, drunken musclemen, Chinese triads and watching the cops kick the head of some guy who talked back scared him straight. Said they gave him a right kickin.

Until the next time he has had a few and sees a traffic cone of course.

Arrested? I wish you had ended up like that thankfully dead kunt at a similiar wankfest in Genoa years ago. Jesus H Christ, at least thew O`Connell Street rioters would admiot they were a bunch of lads who were there 50% because "the ra are bleedin raphid" and the other 50% "fcuk the police" mode. That didn't take long did it? I doubt it would help though due to my lack of penis. Though maybe it would give me nipples I could cut glass with?

I know, was very lucky I was let go. Didn't help matters when I stubbled in to the Garda station asking when my friend was getting released. Asked to leave before I ended up joing him in the cell

    That's a good video alright.

Never arrested myself. Got cautioned for underage (I was 16 or 17) cannabis possession - that might have gone further if I were over 18 at the time, but I just got told what a naughty thing I did.

Ah but your man in Italy deserved to die, in all red hairness. IIRC he was shot dead whilst attempting to throw a fire extinguisher square in the face of a cop? :D:D **** him, i would be sympathetic, say, to a young Palestinian doing the same as he has something to fight for, the freedom of his homeland and the lives of his people. What you had here was an Italian poshboy who couldnt cut it as a football hooligan so decided to join protests aginst nothing in particular.

If i could remember, whenever im drunk in town and in need of a piss id make a point of pissing on whatever of the numerous lamposts that has a poster of "Remember Pauolo Wankerozzi" on it.

No, never arrested, but got stopped doing 85 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on a So Cal freeway, and the cop said he could take me in for doing 20 over the speed limit. Really read me the riot act, then asked me for my phone number. Puts a whole different meaning on pickup line:rolleyes:

My closest encounter with the fuzz was once upon a time in Munich I crossed the S-Bahn track to save my self the 30 second walk through the underpass. Whilst happily relieving myself against a wall two cops come to fence me in and tell me not to be a bold boy again, as it could have been dangerous. Once of the cops was a cute blonde if I remember correctly ;)

Carlos Guilano was the son of a Roman trade union leader, his family were fairly solidly working class - so not posh. While he was certainly acting in a violent manner, which I really don't approve of at that kind of protest. (Believe me I came pretty close to taking a swing at some of the idiot **** who came to Dublin in 2004 for the Mayday protests and tried to cause a riot.) He was throwing a fire extinguisher at an armoured car, not in someones face, and being shot twice in the head for that was a gross over-reaction.

As for not knowing what I'm up to at a protest I've spent the last 4 years, less a few months where I emmigrated, working for Oxfam, and I currently work for an international childrens charity. I know what I'm doing at a protest and I have to be incredibly careful when I choose to attend one as I have to be careful not to mis-represent my employers political agenda. And from a selfish point of view I have a whopping great mortgage that it would be unfair to completely burden on my husband if I lost my job.

    And while you may be entitled to your, what appears to be rather uninformed opinion, I'm pretty sure that comments such as this;

Not yet. In times of danger, I can run like a ***** on speed, tbh. Closest would have been blocking a country road with that block stuff you use to light fires with, all across the road, lit, at about 10pm. Was around Holloween. After doing this for about 3 cars, the 3th was a Garda car. Me and my mate were as silent as possible, and ran like **** when the Gardai went to towards the gate into the field (they had search lights).

Not arrested exactly but my only run in with the law was over in the USA.

Was playin football out on the road(a quite house estate road) like we always do at home and one of the neighbours called The Shades.

They came up to us in the car, beeped the siran and over the PA system in the car announced "Put down the soccer bar".

Made us line up and told us that somebody called them about "Boystrious youths of possible European discent disturbing the peace"

Was about 12 and shíttin myself.

Good little video for ye if you live in America but id say the law here isnt far off.

that should be retitled - how to get away with crime.

    Yes.

A few times I think. (I presume you have to be arrested before being put in a cell? Formally arrested twice with the whole spiel.)

Got undeserved convictions too, make sure to have a good solicitor if you ever have charges brought. Then you won't feel cheated out of proper defence in court when the guards load charges onto you!

Thankfully no, but My friend was arrested once for falling over a cardboard box on Grafton street. As we strolled down late one summer evening on Bin Day, my friend fell over the box as we were laughing a guard came over to talk to us about "the incident" After taking our names and chatting about crap like what school we were in the guard began to talk about The General, like our "incident" could be compared on the crime scale and when my friend said jokingly that she thought the garda has something to do with his death, the guard took her to Pearse Street station and formally cautioned her for loitering and being disorderly towards cardboard. We were on 15!
