    Hi

My company is an online company and as the company expands is requiring 24 hour on call and have approached me. Basically it can involve server support/email and coding. Is there anyone in a simlar role. If so what rates should i try for - as it is a new role we were told that we will need to negotiate our own price and each person will be in a different price category.
Rates will be on 24 shifts. I have about 4 years expeience in the area so i would be very efficient with dealing with the problems that crop up - any rough figures per hour/day would be appreciated

I get €45 a day mon-thurs, €60 fri-sun. Time and a half when called out (double time on sunday). And a minimum call out of 2 hours.
I know a few people who get minimum call out of 4 hours but then usually their on call allowance is lower or the dont get one.
But dont forget your 11 hours break after call outs!
