Has anybody heard of anybody who has had these invisilign braces - apparently they're a clear covering over your teeth thats pretty much invisible... Would love to know how anybody got on with them and where it is possible to get them?

2 of my friends in Canada have had invisalign. One was a girl who just had them taken off 2 months ago, I actually never knew she wore them, she had them on for 11 months and they were just for her lower teeth.

Other friend has just got them 5 months ago and he has to wear them for 14 months, again I didn't notice them until he took them off to eat some food.

There is a few places in Dublin that do Invisalign, www.smiles.ie and a place in Smithfield.

I was gonna get Invisalign but decided to opt for Saphire Braces for my lower set. They are a lot cheaper than Invisalign and if you've got nice white teeth you'll barely notice them, plus they are supposedly better than Invisalign in terms of time that you have them on. Have yet to get them but am due to see Orthodontist soon

I was just wondering about Saphire Braces, can any Orthodontist fit them? And what are the main differences, any info? Thanks.

All you need to know about different braces here:

From what it seems sapphire braces are fitted exactly the same way as normal metalic braces.
