Hard Drive problem

    operating system:win xp sp2
    right. this is what happened.

i was installing a game and patching it. i was also running sd4hide and daemon tools. i had problems running the game so i uninstalled it and then tried to reinstall it again. suddenly, whilst in the middle of installation, i happened upon the blue screen of death so i rebooted. on reboot i got some sort of message pertaining to a fat32 error or some such. i paid little attention to it and ran the scan recommended to me by windows. the scan got to 41% and then crashed. so i rebooted again but this time the screen that comes up when you reboot was repositioned more to the right, as was the windows startup screen (the one before the welcome screen).

anyways, the real problem is that i have 3 hard drives in myt computer. now the primary slave appears to have no data on it. i get the message: drive is not formatted, would you like to format?

i have no idea what is going on. it was fine before i uninstalled and then tried to reinstall the game. also when i go into computer management > disk management it tells me that the drive (F:\) is healthy and online, and has 100% free space on it. whats the deal??

i don't mind reformatting the drive, but would like to undestand whats going on first. also, the repositioning of certain screens on startup concerns me.

any help would be much appreciated.

    cheers,
    pinky.
