Haunted House in England (regulars please read)

My bro recently moved to Suthers Road, Kegworth, Derbshire and had an amazing experience . This is my brother who is 20 , a complete sceptic and much more level headed and professional in his life than me. This kid lives alone in this house and ill copy and past what he told me.

shes about 3 foot high 5 or 6 years old she turns my taps int he bath and sink on at night .Ok from day 1 the taps in the bathroom would turn themselves on .....in the bath or sink.. never at the same time.....then about 2 weeks ago i heard alot of banging from upstairs, and when i went up stairs i heard alot of running water so i walked into the bathroom and ALL the taps hot and cold in both bath and sink were on ...So i turned them off.. and when i walked out of the bathroom standing to my left was this little girl dressed in grey looking up at me..I screamed JESUS and jumped and she was just gone. Wierd thing is you know how easily freaked I get I dont feel wierd about her being in the house.. and I dont feel like shes ever in my bedroom.. only top of the stairs.Its actually pretty cool... I'm, not scared of her at all.. which is wierd Never seen her at night only during the day but the taps turn on at night .I've seen her clearly once.. i mean i could draw a picutre of her its that clear and the second time was just out of the corner of my eye......shes a little girl.......and the house doesnt feel wierd or cold.She seems really happy and she hasnt played with the taps since Monday last. And i dont feel scared at all.. even on my own at night..

Fantastic story, he planning on staying there for long? (i'm thinking maybe you visit him and we come with you )

I dont know what else i'm meant to say on this but its definately one of the best i've heard yet. Nice that he seems to get on with her.

One question though, does she seem to be aware of him?

Not jumping on the BW, but Derby is a full of this sort of thing, and I wanted to suggest a trip over there once all the other stuff died down. Ryan air fly there it's dirt cheap, also one of my best buddies has been living there for 4 years. I suggested that in the tours thread that maybe a trip there would be good just to do the tours. So aside from this I will organise one, maybe in the new year as there is enough going on now before christmas and I need to help out on the organisation of things. anyway it's an nice place a my buddy can drive us around.

Great story Grimes, it would be good to keep us up to date on it.

Very interesting story, He should count himself lucky ive never seen anything before (maybe I have and I just dont know it). Ive been to Derby before, its beautifull, alot of history and alot of old buildings.

Excellent Story. Maybe he could try and leave something in the bathroom for her like a trigger object and leave a cam in there as well if possible. Or does he want to take that route. Either way keep us informed.

6th he said that she was standing there looking up at him from what I guess would be about 3-4 foot away . hes happy with the spirit and wants me to come over to experience it myself

Sounds like the little girl i very aware of her surrondings and the occupants of the house, the taps being turned on only at night may have something to do with how she died, she may have drowned at the bathroom at night or something along those lines, i'd check the history of the house and see if anone else reportede any case like this also i try and find out if there was any reported case of and accident or murder involving a young girl in the house or the surronding area, maybe a lake or pond around close to the house!

Its a very interesting story, i'd be very interested to hear what is dug up!!

Thats lovely to hear about, and for me, I like it best because its not a 'scary' story. This spirit seems pleasant, happy. And the person who sees her doesnt seem freaked out. All good!

I see all the guys getting excited about catching her on camera, I suppose Im a soft auld sort and Id just want to leave her something nice, like a flower or toy, to acknowledge her, and not worry about proving she is there to anyone else.:)

Ah its not about proving she is there, not for me anyway, its about sharing the experience. Its a huge part of why I organise trips, so everyone gets a chance to witness something amazing and in cases like this little girl something wonderfully innocent.

I'd leave her a Sony PSP with the latest Barbie game, but I'd still want to get a picture. That's just me, I'd exploit the situation, that's the sort of animal I am.:eek:

not yet. I havnt spoken to my brother since I got home. After Ross and the next free weekend I have Im going to go and have a look for myself and try and see some activity. Hoping to take 6th along for the trip and some boozed up spiritual contact.
