Just lookin into some bars/clubs around dublin that play rock or Indie Music as opposed to pop and dance. Even a late bar or somewhere with good live mucic would be great. Was out in town on sat and went on a bit of a pub crawl and everywhere we went seemed to have dance music or pop. So any recommendations guys?

The best places are probably Bruxelles downstairs which is off Grafton Street or Fibber McGees on Parnell St., you could also check out the Voodoo Lounge on Arran Quay, all play rock music.

Antics in Crawdaddy, it's on during the week though, not at the weekend.

Whelans on Saturday play a good mix but personally I think that it's a bit crap because it's WHELAN'S (kip) and the crowd varies from the false tan brigade to the BO Warriers so it's woeful!

Whelan's has Rock karaoke on a Sunday night, it's called Songs of Praise. Meant to be good.
