So im sure there are threads about this somewhere but... years back no doubt.

So... just reading the scary movie thread here I remember how terrified I used to be every week with 'fire walk with me'

In case you dont remember Laura Palmer, the log lady and the strange red room...

Id love to see it again though, it got so strange towards the end. Anyone come across the series anywhere lately?

I saw it again, on DVD a while back (From play.com). It's disappointing when I watched it all the way through. The music is still unsettling though.

Series one is on DVD.. but we will still have to wait a bit for Series 2 to be released.

But it really was a wonderful series.

Both Twin Peaks and Fire Walk With Me had brilliant soundtracks too.

I'd love to see it all again, but I suspect I'd find it a bit disappointing now too and not nearly as head-screwy as it was back then.

Well it's not as much fun to watch after you've seen Fire Walk With me as that pretty much clears up a lot of the mystery.

I thought the film (Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me) was amazing. And I have both soundtracks, which are stunning. Was too young to watch the series. Gutted. Wish I'd watched it anyway. But at 12, I would have hated it. My mate, who was 11 at the time, loved it though. But he had to sleep with the light on after each episode.

My mum has the 7" single of the tv theme (Julee Cruise - Falling) somewhere at home. That's got to be pretty rare.

I keep meaning to order the DVD boxset but I'm afraid I might be disappointed. I absolutely loved this as a child.

I think it holds up well, and the episode introductions from the log lady add to the memories.

I downloaded the two series, and the movie recently. Just finished watching the first series. Some very weird stuff! and some damn fine coffee! Would be willing to lend the DVDs to anyone interested (not so you can copy them, that would be immoral!;) ) The Bob character is a scary looking Mofo!

I was brought up on this programme and freddie kruger (eek yes), i love hearing the tune, reminds me of watching the programmes with my two older sisters. i loved the theme tune the most, this tune carried me throughout my childhood, always humming it i was. Very scary for the young one i was then. under 11 years old.. what lovely sisters i have.:D

Later in time American Gothic came along. Now i thought that was great. kalip the main character..what a sweetie.

SFX magazine have a feature on Twin Peaks this month... it's pretty much about how things went wrong with the second series.

An excellent series, and the lines surrounding "Fire Walk with Me" were my sig for a fair while on boards.

I got Season 1 ages ago on DVD, as well as the movie. I had to acquire Season 2 elsewhere but I don't think it's the disappointment many make out. Yes, the middle of the season is a bit weak but it really picks up towards the end and has a great fcuked-up ending.

And BOB is really freaky. Any show with a character being the emodiment of someone's missing arm is wothy of respect...

I used to have to beg my parents to watch it and then they were hooked too. I remember it been on on RTE 1 at about 9.30pm on a Monday evening.

    Those were the days !:)
