    Are they hard to hit?

I've been offered a really good set of 2nd hand Titleist DCI irons at a great price. Stiff shafts though, never used them before. would always have used regular shaft, is the difference huge?

Depending on your standard they can be hard to get used to.

You could consider getting the shafts changed ... a bit expnsive tho but possible.

Then again you might like them:D :D

You need to have the swing for a stiff flex. If you do not have the swing there will be some negative outcomes. Have you been fitted or had a swing test? Having a flex that doesn't match the needs of your swing will result in the clubface being misaligned at impact, causing your shots to go off-target.

Ah ha, stiff / regular / X-stiff etc. There are no standards in shaft stiffness i.e. one brand's stiff may be the same as another's regular.

Being Titleists, I would assume that they are True Temper Dynamic Gold S300???? There is actually not a whole lot of difference between S300 and their R300 regular shaft. A clubmaker/fitter will be able to tell the exact difference in MOI, but it means little to the bloke on the street.
Best bet is to take them to the range, or better still the course, for a trial run b4 buying. If not possible, try a demo club with the same shaft at the local range.
